Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Miami

After your flight, make your way to your hotel in Miami, where you'll spend your first night.

 

Day 2

Cayo District

Arrive in Belize today and take a two-hour drive to the laidback district of Cayo, where you'll spend the next four nights. Belize's last frontier is much less visited than other areas and is home to lush rainforests, plantations, and exceptionally friendly people.

 

Day 3

Cayo District

Day at leisure. The lodge can arrange boat trips, chocolate making, plantation tours and various other activities (all bookable locally).

 

 

Day 4

Cayo District

Today you'll visit the Barton Creek Cave system. The Barton Creek Cave tour is a low-intensity adventure trip. Equipped with canoes and high-powered lights, you'll paddle along the river into the cave system, known as Xibalba (Mayan for 'underworld').

 

 

Day 5

Cayo District

Today you'll go on another adventure to the Caracol ruins. Caracol is the largest Maya archaeological site in Belize. After your guided tour of the site, you'll return to your hotel with a stop on the way to explore the Rio Frio Pools and Caves.

 

 

Day 6

The Cayes

You'll be transferred to Belize City airport where you'll take a short flight to Ambergris Caye. On the way to the airport, you'll enjoy a cave tubing trip at Jaguar Paw. You'll do this by transferring to the famous Caves Branch River cave system for a fun cave tubing trip.

 

 

Day 7

The Cayes

Enjoy a half-day Mexico Rocks snorkelling tour.

 

 

Day 8

The Cayes

At leisure on Ambergris Caye.

 

 

Day 9

The Cayes

Today is your final night in the Cayes. Why not enjoy your last day onboard a small sailing ship to enjoy one of Central America's best sunsets?

Belize City

You'll be transferred to San Pedro airstrip for your flight to Belize City. Here, you'll board your next flight home.
