Here it is! A chance to dive into Kenya’s wild heart with your own private safari vehicle, followed by a dreamy stretch of pure beach bliss. No faff, no worries. Your transfers, game drives, park taxes, meals and drinks are all wrapped up.
You’ll touch down in Mombasa and ease into things with a relaxed night on the nearby coast. Just enough time to shake off the journey before heading inland, drifting past coastal villages and rural landscapes as Kenya slowly reveals itself. Your destination is Tsavo East National Park, and you’ll roll in just in time for lunch under a 200 year old tamarind tree at Satao Camp.
Two nights here means four game drives to play with, and Tsavo East knows how to put on a show. This is the land of the red elephants, dusted in iron rich earth and unmistakable as they wander past the acacias. It is vast, raw and wonderfully untamed, home to lion, leopard, buffalo and rhino, along with an incredible bird scene boasting more than 500 species. When you are not out exploring, you can simply sit back at camp and watch elephants gather at the waterhole like they own the place.
Then it is back to the coast for six nights of toes in the sand at Diamonds Malindi, all inclusive and laid back to the core. Think swaying palms, ocean breezes and garden pathways twisting their way to spacious rooms and suites tucked into tropical greenery. It is exactly the kind of place you want after the red dust and pulse of safari life.
If you are in the mood to go all out, the Premium All Inclusive upgrade adds a few extra treats. Two hours of massage heaven, spa access, complimentary golf green fees, elevated dining and premium drinks. A little extra sparkle, because why not?
Itineraries
Day 1
Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort
Set on 23 acres of gardens overlooking the Indian Ocean, Sarova Whitesands is ideal for a relaxing beach break after a safari.
Swahili accents lend this beach resort a wonderful sense of place. By day, you can relax around one of the five swimming pools, perhaps slip away to the spa in the afternoon. After dinner in one of the restaurants, there’s a great atmosphere for balmy and relaxing evenings with an ice-cold drink in hand.
Days 2 & 3
Satao Camp Tsavo East
A relaxed safari camp where wildlife comes to you, and the modern world feels far, far away
Hidden among tamarind trees in the heart of Tsavo East, this laid-back safari camp invites you to slow down and tune into the rhythm of the wild. Days start with the shuffle of elephants at the waterhole and end with stories shared around the fire before retiring to simple but welcoming tents, each with a shady veranda and a front-row seat to the bush. With no fences, and wildlife often wandering through, staying at Satao Camp feels gently adventurous, and best suited to couples and families with older children.
Days 4 - 10
Diamonds Malindi
Think palm trees, sandy beaches and beautiful blue seas. Welcome to Diamonds Malindi.
Diamonds Malindi is a laid-back beachside retreat on Kenya’s coast, just outside the historic town of Malindi. It’s perfect for a quiet beach break after the red dust and wild energy of a Tsavo safari. Think palm trees, sea breezes, and winding garden paths leading to spacious rooms and suites tucked among tropical gardens, many with private verandas or plunge pools. If you’re easing into coastal life after wrapping up an adventure, this is an ideal spot to trade game drives for ocean dips, and bush sunsets for beachside cocktails.
