A thrilling snowmobile safari through Arctic landscapes adds another highlight before the tour moves to Santa Claus Village, right on the Arctic Circle. There is free time to meet Santa, send postcards from his official post office, visit Snowman World or simply enjoy the snow-covered surroundings!

Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival in Helsinki and city tour, night train to Kemi
Arrival in Helsinki, the elegant seaside capital of Finland. After meeting the guide at the airport, we start panoramic city tour to discover the most beautiful corners of the city. Visit of historical centre, Senate Square, white Helsinki Cathedral, Market Square, open-air market by the sea, which is one of the symbols of Helsinki, with stalls offering local snacks, pastries, fish dishes, berries in season and traditional handicrafts, all with a view of the boats and waterfront. Uspenski Cathedral, a striking red-brick Orthodox church overlooking the harbour. Its many domes and golden crosses reflect the period when Finland was part of the Russian Empire. Sibelius Park, dedicated to the famous Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. On the way back to the centre, we follow Aleksanterinkatu, one of the oldest and best-known shopping streets in the city. Dinner at a local restaurant. Afterwards night train to the north, to Kemi. As the train gently moves through snowy forests and frozen lakes, we travel overnight towards Kemi in Lapland.
Day 2
Kemi and Arctic Icebreaker experience
Morning arrival to Kemi. Open-buffet breakfast, enjoy a relaxed start of the day before your Arctic adventure begins. Visit the Snowcastle area, where impressive structures of snow and ice are created during the winter season. Lunch in a warm indoor restaurant, tasting local flavors and getting ready for the main highlight: the icebreaker cruise. Experience the unique Icebreaker Cruise on the frozen sea. During the cruise witness the ship break thick ice, opening a channel through the white surface. Get to know one of Finland’s most famous international tourist attractions. Feel free to go out on a deck to feel the Arctic wind, take photos and admire the endless ice fields. Walking on the frozen sea, you get to take amazing pictures of the vessel while standing on the ice. Ice floating, which is once in a lifetime experience and fantastic photo opportunity. A safe survival suite will keep you warm in freezing water.
After this extraordinary Arctic experience, transfer to Pikku-Syöte Resort. Overnight
Day 3
Husky safari experience
Breakfast. We head out for one of the most exciting experiences in Lapland: a husky safari. Step into a world full of wagging tails, happy howls and arctic magic. Experience the joy of fluffy tails and furry friends. Upon arrival at the husky farm, we first receive a short introduction and sled-driving instruction. Afterwards, we have time to meet the huskies, pet these energetic and friendly dogs, and take memorable photos with them before the safari begins. Set off on an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Lapland. Riding through snowy forests, over frozen lakes and rivers, experience the Arctic wilderness in a truly authentic way. The total duration of program is approximately 1.5h, including 6km of sled driving. (Drivers may switch halfway during a short break.) During the tour hot drinks and snacks will be served. Return to hotel. Free time. Don’t miss opportunity to do activities, such as skiing and snowshoeing.
Day 4
Reindeer Farm visit and Evening Safari in Search of the Northern Lights
Breakfast, we visit a traditional reindeer farm to meet one of the true symbols of the North and learn more about Sámi culture and the ancient way of life in Lapland.
During the visit, we are welcomed by the farm owner, who introduces us to the world of reindeer herding. We will hear about local traditions, daily life on the farm, and the deep connection between the herders and their reindeer. This authentic local experience also includes a visit to the home museum, where we can gain further insight into the cultural heritage of the region.
Guests will have the opportunity to see the reindeer up close, pet them, and even feed them. Hot drinks and snacks will be served during the visit, adding to the cozy and genuine atmosphere of this memorable excursion. After the visit return to the hotel. The afternoon will be free for relaxation and personal activities.
In the evening, we prepare for another Lapland highlight: an evening snowmobile safari in search of the Northern Lights. Travel through snowy forest trails and across the frozen Arctic landscape under the dark northern sky. Far away from city lights, we reach the best possible areas to observe the magical Aurora Borealis. This safari offers a perfect combination of adventure and Arctic nature. Along the way, we stop for a short break to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and warm drinks. If weather conditions are favorable, we may be lucky enough to witness the Northern Lights dancing across the sky. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5
Santa Claus Village, Flight to Helsinki and Porvoo Tour
Breakfast. Check out, we continue to Santa Claus Village, the official hometown of Santa Claus. Santa Claus has made Lapland in Northern Finland his home for centuries, and the Arctic Circle is close to his heart because many Christmas secrets are rooted in this magical place. Feel free to address Santa Claus formally in Finish as “Joulupukki”. Meet Joulupukki! Everybody is welcome to visit this atmospheric place and enjoy a private chat with Santa. Opportunity to cross the Arctic Circle line and receive a certificate, and send postcards from the official Santa Claus Post Office, where letters are stamped with a special Arctic Circle postmark. Time for a visit is 2 hours. Say goodbye to Santa Claus and his helpers. Transfer to the airport. Flight to Helsinki. Depending on the time gap between the flights, Tour to Porvoo, second oldest city in Finland. Discover Porvoo’s storybook charm, embark on a cultural and historical tour, where you will discover the charming Old Town, iconic cathedral, cozy cafes and scenic riverside views – a perfect blend of history and culture. Flight back home
