Itineraries
Day 1
Malaga, Spain

Málaga, an MSC Mediterranean Cruises destination, is a vibrant coastal city in Spain’s popular Costa del Sol. This thriving port offers a wide range of things to see including the ancient hilltop citadels — Alcazaba and Gibralfaro. Stroll along the modern waterfront or wander the cobbled streets of the old quarter. Málaga is also a gateway to glorious Granada and its dazzling Arab architecture.
Day 2
Cadiz, Spain

Cádiz, an old Spanish settlement in Andalusia, is characterised by a multitude of historical watchtowers. The port city rewards its visitors with excellent beaches, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, ancient cathedrals, and a fascinating old town. This MSC Mediterranean Cruises destination is a gateway to spectacular Seville. Further afield, discover the dazzling White Villages of Andalusia high up in the hills
Day 3
Lisbon, Portugal

Visit Lisbon on an MSC Mediterranean cruise and explore one of the world’s most ancient cities and the second oldest European capital after Athens. It’s yet to go global and its white-domed cathedrals and cobbled alleyways make it quintessentially Portuguese. As the only capital city on the Atlantic coast, Lisbon is also remarkably inexpensive: food, drink and entertainment all offer exceptional value for money.

At Sea

Day 5
Alicante, Spain

Alicante, located in the Costa Blanca, is one of the most beautiful cities of the Spanish East Coast.
During your MSC Mediterranean cruise you will discover a vibrant city connected to the sea and rich in history and architecture. From the Santa Barbara fortress, the main castle of the city, to parks and boulevards, such as the Explanada de España where you can enjoy Alicante’s breathing fresh air and relax in cozy bars and terrace cafés.
Day 6
Mahon, Spain

Mahon and Menorca island are one of the most beautiful places you will discover during your MSC Mediterranean cruise.
With pristine beaches and scenes that seem to be taken from a holiday postcard, Menorca is the perfect destination to relax and enjoy the exceptional natural beauty of the island, declared Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993. But beyond the turquoise waters and breathtaking landscapes, Menorca is a sophisticated island with a unique history legacy that reflects the Spanish culture and the British influence – the island was a British possession for more than 70 years.
Day 7
Olbia, Italy

Wedged into the coastline, Olbia is the gateway to the gorgeous and glamour beaches of the Emerald Coast and Gallura, both located in Sardinia, one of the most naturally beautiful islands you can dock at during an MSC Mediterranean cruise: a magical place you cannot miss to visit! Olbia has numerous bars and restaurants, usually abuzz with tourists.
Day 8
Genoa, Italy

Gateway to the Italian Riviera, the Port of Genoa is one of the most important (and one of the largest) in Italy, a strategic harbour since ancient times.
Cruises to Genoa offer the chance to explore its many sights, including Genoa Aquarium, designed by architect Renzo Piano, and the city’s picturesque Boccadasse district, a lakeside fishing village. Genoa excursions also offer the opportunity to taste signature dishes made from fresh ingredients, such as pesto Genovese and focaccia.
On a Genoa cruise, guests can also admire one of Italy’s most beautiful stretches of coastline or an excursion to the UNESCO-listed Cinque Terre. Its five fishing villages, perched on steep cliffs, offer superb sea views, small seafood restaurants, and a tableau of townhouses.
Day 9
Marseille, Provence

Marseille is where Provence comes crashing into the sea: bustling city and beautiful coastline, Belle Époque facades and bold street art, Provençal and multicultural traditions. France’s oldest city is also its most original, appealing to both first-time and seasoned visitors, as you’ll discover on a Marseille cruise.
Snap photos of wooden boats lining Le Vieux-Port harbour and hop between cafes, restaurants and bars – grab an outside table to watch the world go by and appreciate the gentle hubbub. Marvel at limestone fjords in Calanques National Park, home to Château d’If.
Day 10
Barcelona, Spain

On a Barcelona cruise, you’ll see why the Catalan capital is Spain’s most-visited city. Set between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountains, Barcelona offers experiences and sights for all, from classical and modern art to daring architecture, from innovative design to ancient history, plus world-class gastronomy (covering local cuisine and fine dining) and an enviable coastline.
Marvel at Antoni Gaudí’s Sagrada Família or his surreal Park Güell, both part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site encompassing seven of the architect’s works across the city.
Learn about local history on a Barcelona cruise by walking down famed La Rambla, lined with emblematic buildings like La Boqueria market, dating back to the 1800s, and the opulent Gran Teatre del Liceu opera house.
Day 11
