Itineraries
Day 1
Malaga - Luxor - Nile Cruise - Dinner
We leave from Malaga on a special flight to Luxor. Upon arrival we will be transferred directly to the ship and enjoy a picnic dinner in the cabin. Spend overnight on board the cruise.
Day 2
Luxor - Esna - Edfu - Nile Cruise - Full Board
After breakfast, our first stop will take us to the tomb of the famous Valley of the Kings and the Necropolis of Thebes, where the famous tomb of Tutankhamun is located. Later, we will visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut, dedicated to the only woman who reigned in Egypt and out a curiosity grew a beard to look like a pharaoh. Next, we will see the Deir El Bahari temple and the impressive colossi of Memnon. We continue with the tour and arrive at the second most visited place by tourists in Egypt, the religious complex of Karnak and its temples, which is one of the places of greatest historical value in Egypt. This is due to the way in which they were built, starting with the central sanctuary and then the outer areas. Because the temple of Luxor is dedicated to the God Amun-Ra, god of creation and the sun, many pharaohs expanded the temple with new monuments to honor the main god of the Egyptian pantheon. Finally, we will return to the ship to head to Esna. Lunch and dinner on board the cruise.
Day 3
Esna - Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan - Nile Cruise - Full Board
We will have breakfast and start the day with a visit to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the God Horus, one of the best preserved temples in the country. This is the second largest temple in Egypt, only surpassed by the Temple of Amun-Ra in Karnak. Later we will continue sailing to reach the Temple of Kom Ombo, which worships Sobek, a god with a crocodile head and a human body. Located on the banks of the Nile. Lunch and dinner on board the cruise.
Day 4
Aswan - Abu Simbel - Nile Cruise - Full Board
We arrive in Aswan early in the morning to visit the majestic temples of Abu Simbel. This complex contains the temple of Pharaoh Ramses II and the temple of Nefertari, who was his favorite wife. Both temples were dismantled and rebuilt at a higher height due to the construction of the Aswan Dam. Later we can enjoy a ride on an Egyptian sailboat called a felucca to end the day. Breakfast will be picnic style, lunch and dinner on board the cruise.
Day 5
Aswan - Cairo - Domestic flight - Breakfast and Lunch
We'll have breakfast and begin the day with a visit to the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the god Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in the country. This is the second largest temple in Egypt, surpassed only by the Temple of Amun-Ra at Karnak. Later, we'll continue sailing to the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to Sobek, a god with the head of a crocodile and the body of a human. It's located on the banks of the Nile. Lunch and dinner will be served on board the cruise ship.
Day 6
Cairo - Pyramids of Giza - Bed and Breakfast
After breakfast at the hotel, the first scheduled visit is to the Giza Pyramids complex, home to the pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the country's main tourist attraction and one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
After visiting the pyramids, we will approach the famous Sphinx, created by Pharaoh Khafre. This sculpture, with the body of a lion and the head of a human, was intended to guard the funerary complex of the pyramids and was also a symbol of royalty. Once the visit to the Giza necropolis complex is complete, the tour concludes and you will return to the hotel. An optional excursion to Saqqara, where the first pyramid built in Egypt is located, is available.
