Itineraries

Days 1, 2 & 3

Chamarel

Day 1: After your flight, you'll be met by one of our representatives and driven to your hotel up in the valley of Chamarel. Depending on your flight time, you might have a little time to relax. Take a dip in the hotel pool or relax in the library.

Day 2: Today, you are free to explore the area. You might like to hire bikes from the hotel — an ideal way to explore the local area. If you want to explore further afield, the hotel runs excursions into the Black River National Park, which has excellent walking trails.

 

Day 3: Another day to enjoy Chamarel. A guided tour of the local area with a car and driver can be arranged with the hotel and is a wonderful way to see the sights. Chamarel's coloured earth and nearby waterfall are a particular highlight.

 

Days 4, 5 & 6

Grand Baie

Day 4: Today your driver takes you north, to the pretty coastal area of Grand Baie. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You might like to explore the beach or relax in the library.

Day 5: Today is free to explore. The market of Port Louis and botanical Garden of Pamplemousses are nearby — you can book a guided tour with the hotel if you wish.

Day 6: A further day to relax or explore the area. To make your trip special, you might like to book a table on the Lady Lisbeth — the hotel's antique motorboat. The evening cruise serves a recommended à la carte menu.

 

Days 7 & 8

Return home

Day 7: Today drive to the airport by private transfer for your onward flights home.

Day 8: Arrive home today to complete your journey.
